Everyone has heard of CPR, but there is another technique called QPR that can also save a life.

QPR (Question. Persuade. Refer.) is an evidence-based training that teaches three simple steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to help someone in crisis seek the support they need.

The Stark County Suicide Prevention Coalition will provide free training in QPR at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21 at Rodman Public Library.
