The Friends of Rodman Public Library will hold its annual
members meeting and conduct a mini used book sale on Saturday, April 22 at the
Main Library.
All patrons who purchased a Friends of RPL membership in the
past year are encouraged to attend the members meeting at 10:30 a.m. inside the
auditorium. During the meeting, which is free and open to the public, members
will vote on a slate of officers and three proposed revisions to the group's
by-laws. A basket will be raffled off during the meeting that will last about
half an hour.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a mini used book sale will
take place in the children's programming room. The sale, which is open to the
public, will run all day. Only books in the following genres will be available
during the sale: hardback fiction, children's books, young adult, cookbooks,
gardening, and coffee table books. The cost will be by donation.
