Fall Wee Read, which will run between September 11 and November 15, is offered every Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. and every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Children, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend. Wee Read includes stories, fingerplays, music and movement.

There will be stories before participants break into small groups to visit various stations where they will play games, complete challenges and create crafts that will provide fun for all ages. No registration is required.

The free games will be held monthly inside the Rodman Main Auditorium and prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Rodman Public Library's monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 31 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library and create a rainbow sand art terranium. All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Registration is required. Kids Book Club

Rodman Public Library invites children, ages 8-12, to join the Kids Book Club, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month.  The selection for July is Quinny & Hopper by Adriana Brad Schaner. Kids Book Club meetings include a brief discussion of the book, a fun activity and a snack, which will be pizza in July.  Books are available for extended checkout. Summer Art Gala

Rodman Public Library will host a Summer Art Gala from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 15 inside the Main Library featuring the work of students who took part in the four-week Summer Art Experience. The event is free and open to the public. 

Play Group

Children, ages birth through 5, have a standing play date at Rodman Public Library every Wednesday between June 14 and July 26.

On those Wednesdays, a play group will be offered from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on inside the Rodman Main Auditorium.

Board books and toys will be available for the children to play with while coffee and tea will be offered to the adults, who will have the opportunity to socialize.
