Wee Read at the Main Library

Wee Read, a program offered through the Children's Department, is designed to introduce children to books, fingerplays and music incorporating the six early learning skills. Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Monday evenings at the main library at 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday mornings at the main library at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required. Storytime at the Main Library

Beginning on Thursday, Jan. 23, Storytime returns from holiday break. Rodman Main Library will host Storytime for 3-5 year olds. Patrons may attend Storytime on Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. The goal of Storytime is to encourage life-long readers through stories, music, movement and activities. Pre-registration is not required. Rodman Main is located at 215 E. Broadway St. For more information, call the Children's Department at 330-821-2665, ext 223.

Family Fun Night

On every Tuesday of the month, parents or caregivers are invited to participate in an entertaining evening with their preschool and school-aged children. For children ages 3 to 5, Storytime will offer music, interaction and stories. During this same time, all school-aged children will share in their own fun activities that are based on the S.T.E.A.M. program. No registration is needed. Storytime, for ages 3-5 only, continues every Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.
