LudoSports for Teens (May 2)
Ahead of May the Fourth, teens, ages 12-18, are invited to learn the ins and outs of the fun and safe activity of light saber combat on Saturday, May 2.
LudoSports for Teens, a two-hour program, begins at 10 a.m. and will be taught by a certified instructor from the Canton chapter of LudoSport USA.
Participants must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian prior to the event. Waivers can be obtained at the Information Center at the Main Library.
The program is free, thanks to support from Friends of Rodman Library, but space is limited and registration is required.

Teen Nerf Night (May 7)
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend the January Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.
Teens should start to assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:15 p.m. for the after-hours event. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library. The library will also provide Nerf darts. Space is limited and registration is required at rodmanlibrary.com. For more information, call the Reference Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 217.
Nerf nights are held every other month.
Tabletop Gaming (May 12)
Tabletop Gaming, a popular all-ages program returns to the Main Library at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. (The program is usually held on the first Tuesday of the month, but is being held a week later due to the primary election).
Each month, a new game will be featured so that patrons can learn a new game. Of course, other games available in the library’s collection will also be available and visitors are always welcome to bring their own games.
The aim of the family program is to give area residents an opportunity to gather with others to play their favorite card and board games and make new friends.
Light snacks will be offered and no registration is required to attend the monthly program.
Although the program is open to players of all ages, children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult.

Teen Book Club (May 20)
Intended for readers ages 12 to 18, The Teen Book Club meets at 4 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.
The selection for May 20 is The Summer We Forgot by Caroline George.
Registration is required to attend each meeting.

Baby Yoda Party (May 21) (Ages 10-18)
Youth, ages 10-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 21 for a Baby Yoda Party.
The hour-long program will feature games, crafts, and snacks themed around Baby Yoda/Grogu to celebrate the release of “The Mandalorian and Grogu” movie that week.
Registration is not required to attend the event, which is supported by Friends of Rodman Library.
