Meet Charlene Duro, head of extension services and branch manager who will mark 33 years with RPL in October.

Talking with patrons and ordering branch materials.
Who is your favorite author?
Marie Benedict is one of my favorites. I love historical fiction.
What is your favorite food or snack?
I love burgers. The messier, the better.
What is your favorite song or musical artist?
I love all kinds of music, but I mostly listen to country, contemporary Christian, and oldies.
Do you have any pets?
I am a crazy cat lady and have three cats.
Do you have any hobbies?
I work at my church as a bell choir/choir director.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I’ve done a couple of shows with the Carnation City Players.
If you could visit anywhere, where would it be?
The next thing on my bucket list is Mount Rushmore, but I would love to go to Europe.
