Un-Valentine's Day 2/14:
Join us on Wednesday, February 14, from 3 to 5 p.m.,as we celebrate Un-Valentine’s Day in Rodman Library Auditorium. We’ll be working with assorted crafts and playing Minute-To-Win-It themed games. While you’re working on your crafts, a Valentine’s related movie will be playing and a movie game called “Spot the Mustache” will be ongoing. You’ll have to come to the library to learn more about this game – and to win a prize. No registration is needed. You just need to be age 12 to 18. See you there!
Minecraft Monday 02/05:
Minecraft on the iPad will be offered for teens. The Minecraft Pocket Edition for iPads will be used for this program. iPads will be available for use. This program is limited to 10 participants. For more information, stop at the Reference Desk or call(330) 821-2665, ext. 214.
Teen Gaming Days 02/01 & 02/15:
On Thursdays, from 3-5 p.m., area teens,ages 12-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library to play their favorite video games on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 with Kinect, Playstation 3 & 4, and Nintendo Wii, WiiU, and Switch. The next sessions will be held Thursdays, February 1 & 15. Visitors will have the opportunity to play a different game each week. Games with ratings from “E” for Everyone, up to”T” for Teen level, will be offered. Along with the video games, the iPads are available to teens. Gaming Unplugged 02/20:
Teens, ages 12-18, gather your friends and come to the main library on Tuesday, February 20, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.Choose your favorite board games... or card games on hand at the library. Be adventurous. Try something new. Bring your own magic and duel it out with your friends. No registration is needed.
Teen Movie Night 02/06:
All teens, ages 12-18, are invited to see a free movie on RPL’s big screen in the auditorium on Tuesday, February 6, at 5:30 p.m. Six young martial arts students are assigned the duty to defend their island home. By day they are just ordinary teens but at night they excel as warriors, fighting monsters and evil forces. The movie is rated PG. No registration is needed. Anime Club: 02/27:
Pick your favorite episodes to view on RPL’s big screen. Anime meets in the Main Auditorium. No registration is needed.Tuesday, February 27th, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Teen Advisory 02/19:
Teens, ages 12-18– We Want You! Help us decide what kind of programs we will have for our teen patrons. Those teens interested in having their voices heard, come to Rodman Library’s Conference Room. The Teen Advisory meets each month to help decide teen programming at the Library.
