Zombie Nerf Night 10/25:
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to join us in the Main Auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., to get ready for a Zombie Nerf Night. At 4:30, teen participants will transform into the walking dead by applying Zombie makeup. Time permitting, teens will then walk around the neighborhood. Attendees may bring tattered clothes or old dress attire to fit the theme. After the library closes, a Zombie themed Nerf night will take place throughout the library. Games played will be feature a living dead theme. For teens who want to play Nerf only, please arrive at 5:15 p.m. Teens who choose to bring their own guns should have their name clearly marked on them to avoid confusion. Nerf will begin at 5:30 p.m. Makeup will be provided by the Friends of the Library. No registration is needed. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 214.
Teen Gaming Day 10/11 & 10/25:
On Thursdays, from 3-5pm., are teens, ages 12-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library to play their favorite video games on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 with Kinect, Playstation 3 & 4, Nintendo Wii & Wii U, Nintendo Switch. Visitors will have the opportunity to play a different game each week. Games with ratings from "E" for Everyone, up to "T" for Teen level, will be offered. Teen Writing Club 10/03, 10/17, & 10/31:
Teen Writing Club will meets every other Wednesday of the month. For ages 12-18, the purpose of this group is to meet with fellow teen writers to work on writing exercises and hone skills. Any teen can join. Share work with the group if desired. The next meetings will be on October 3rd and 17th, and 31st from 4 to 5:30 p.m. No registration is needed. Teen Advisory 10/15:
Teens, ages 12-18 – We Want You! Help us decide what kind of programs we will have for our teen patrons. Those teens interested in having their voices heard, come to Rodman Library’s Conference Room. The Teen Advisory meets each month to help decide teen programming at the Library. The next meeting is Monday, October 15th, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. This is a great opportunity for teens looking to do community service. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 214.
Gaming Unplugged 10/23:
Teens, ages 12-18, gather your friends and come to the main library on Tuesday, Ocotber 23rd, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Choose your favorite board games... or card games on hand at the library. Be adventurous. Try something new. Bring your own magic and duel it out with your friends. No registration is needed.
Anime Club 10/30:
All teens, ages 13-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, October 30th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Teens will have the chance to pick their favorite episodes to be shown on RPL's big screen.
