There’s lots of weekly fun to be had for kids this summer at Rodman Public Library.

Bouncing Babies Storytime
Babies and toddlers up to age 3 will enjoy this action-packed lap bounce program offered at 10:30 a.m. every Monday during June and July at the main Library
Caregivers will bounce and lift children to rhymes and songs as well as hear age-appropriate stories. Babies and toddlers will also get their first experience with art as they complete an art project each week.
Color Our World Storytime at the Branch

Color Our World Storytime will be held at the Rodman Branch every Tuesday during June and July.
Identical sessions featuring lots of art, crafts, games, and science experiments will be held at 10:30 a.m. and at noon.
Following the theme of the 2025 Summer Reading Program, children attending are encouraged to wear clothing that matches the featured color of the week for extra fun.
The colors include:
June 3 – Black
June 10 - Red
June 17 – Orange
June 24 – Yellow
July 1 – Green
July 8 – Blue
July 15 – Purple
July 22 – White
July 29 – Rainbow
Mini Art Series
Continuing with the 2025 Summer Reading Program theme Color Our World, a Mini Art Series will be held for children at Rodman Public Library each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. between July 10 and July 31.

Each week will feature a different artist. Children will learn a little bit about that artist and then create a piece of art in that artist’s style. During the four weeks, the featured artists will include Claude Monet, Georgia O’Keefe, Pablo Picasso, and Alma Thomas.
Registration is not required to attend the free program, which is supported by Friends of Rodman Library.
