Teen Clue Murder Mystery 8/19
Teens, ages 12-18, will have an opportunity to play detective at Rodman Public Library from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19. Based on the classic board game Clue that was later turned into a feature film, participants will visit various rooms inside the library where staff members will be playing the role of one of the iconic Clue characters. The teens will solve puzzles in order to receive clues that will lead them to the identity of the murderer. Unlike past murder mystery programs at Rodman Public Library, teens will not be playing a character and will only be on the hunt to solve the mystery. "Take and Make" Paracord Bracelet 7/1
Starting Thursday, July 1, teens, 12 -18, can stop by the Reference Department at the Rodman Main Library to pick up a paracord bracelet “take and make” craft. All supplies for the craft will be included as well as step-by-step instructions for constructing the craft. Supplies are limited and will be given out at a first come first served basis. Teen Gaming Days 7/22
Area teens, ages 12-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library every other Thursday to play their favorite video games on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 with Kinect, Playstation 3 & 4, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii & WiiU. Visitors will have the opportunity to play a different game each week. Games with ratings from “E” for Everyone, up to "T" for Teen level, will be offered. Along with the video games, the iPads are available to teens. No registration is required for these free gaming events. For more information, call the library at 330-821-2665, ext. 217. Teen Writing Club 7/28
Creative ideas flowing? Join Rodman Public Library for the Teen Writing Club that meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. in the Computer Lab. The next meetings are July 28. Have fun meeting with fellow teens to exchange ideas, hone your skills and share your work. Teen Book Club 8/16
Are you a teen who loves to read? Join us for the Teen Book Club that meets once a month on Mondays at 4 p.m. in the Conference Room. The next meeting will be on August 16 and the selected title will be Renegades by Marissa Meyer. Copies are available at the Main Library, through the library’s catalog, or digitally through Axis 360, Hoopla (audiobook), or the Ohio Digital Library. All teens, ages 12-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, July 27 at 3:00 p.m. Teens will have the chance to pick their favorite episodes to be shown on RPL’s big screen.
