RPL Offers Opportunities for Youngsters to Get Creative

 

HOT POTS STORYTIME March Hot Pots Storytime

The March Hot Pots Storytime will have a St. Paddy’s Day theme.

Children, ages 2-12, are invited to come to the RPL Branch for a mini storytime featuring and then proceed to Hot Pots, accompanied by their guardian, to paint a leprechaun figure or shamrock dish to mark St. Patrick’s Day. 

Two sessions will be held, including Wednesday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. and another on Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m.

The cost is $15.99 per child and registration is required. The fee for the event is payable to Hot Pots upon registration at hotpotspottery.com.

KIDS CRAFTING

Stained-Glass Kite

Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 13 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library to create a stained-glass kite.

Registration is required.

Lego Leprechaun Trap

LEGO LAB

Rodman Public Library’s Lego Lab continues at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18 when youngsters will create leprechaun traps.

The program is free, thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library, but space is limited and participants must register.

Lego Lab, intended for children 6-12, is held on the third Tuesday of each month and children are encouraged to create items related to the monthly theme.
