Rodman Public Library Community Relations Manager Jack Weber will honor local military men and women on Veterans Day when he presents “Hometown Heroes: A Salute to Alliance-Area Veterans” on November 11.
During identical talks at both 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Weber will retell some of the many stories he discovered and wrote during a nearly 27-year career as a local journalist as part of Alliance’s America 250 festivities. The program is sponsored by the Alliance Historical Society.
His stories will span the Civil War through the Vietnam War.
