Do you need solar eclipse glasses to safely view the April 8 spectacle in which Alliance is right on the edge of that path of totality?
Rodman Public Library has a limited number of solar eclipse glasses available for area residents.
To secure a pair, visit either the Main or Branch Library during regular business hours between now and April 8.
One pair of glasses will be provided per visitor. Glasses will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. A person must be present to receive a pair of glasses.
The Bookmobile will also have a limited number of glasses available during an eclipse watching event sponsored by the Alliance Parks at Butler-Rodman Park on the day of the eclipse.
