The Rodman Public Library Children's Department is marking National Pizza Day - Wednesday, February 9 -- in a special way.
At 4:00 p.m. on that day, area children, ages 7-12, are invited to come and sample pizza from around the area during a pizza tasting event. The kids will get bite-sized pieces of cheese pizza from various local pizzerias and then will judge each one by filling out a scorecard. Participating restaurants include Chives, East of Chicago, Gionino's, Papa Johns, Pizza Oven, Stone Age Pizza and "Your" Pizza Shop.
The
pizza will be provided for free, but space is limited to the first 20
