Little Ones' Favorites Return for Winter Run

Three of Rodman Public Library’s most popular programs for children return to Rodman Public Library in January, including Wee Read, Family Fun Night, and Storytime.

No registration is required for the three weekly programs.

Winter Wee Read will run between January 15 and March 27, offered on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Children, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend. Wee Read includes stories, fingerplays, music and movement.

Each Tuesday between January 16 and March 26, parents or caregivers and their children, ages 3 to 12, are invited to participate in an entertaining and educational evening in Rodman Main Children’s Department as part of Family Fun Night. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with stories and includes STEAM activities that are fun for the entire family.

Children, ages 3-5, and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend Storytime sessions this winter at Rodman Public Library. Morning sessions will be on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. between January 18 and March 28 at the Main Library. Evening Storytime sessions will be held on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. between January 16 and March 26 as part of Family Fun Nights at the Main Library. Storytime sessions are intended to encourage lifelong readers through stories, music, movement and activities.
