Rodman Public Library invites children, ages 8-12, to join the Kids Book Club, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month.  The selection for October is Upside Down Magic by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins. Kids Book Club meetings include a brief discussion of the book, a fun activity and a snack.  Books are available for extended checkout. Rodman Public Library's Summer Movie Series  concludes on Monday, August 1, when Moana is shown on the big Children's Program Room at 5:30 p.m. 

Teens should be prepared to get wet when they visit Rodman Public Library on Thursday, July 21. From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., an outside water obstacle course will be available for teens, ages 12-18, to try out their skills and compare their times against their friends. Rodman Public Library will mark Juneteenth with a special presentation by Dr. William "Ted" McDaniel, a professor of African-American studies and professor of music at the Ohio State University.
