Rodman Public Library will screen another superhero adventure during Family Movie Night in May when it shows Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on Tuesday, May 23 at 5:30 p.m.

In the 2023 action comedy, Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne, along with Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, explore the Quantum Realm, where they interact with strange creatures and embark on an adventure that goes beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

The movie is rated PG-13 and runs 2 hours and 4 minutes.

Teens, 12-18, can sign up at Rodman Public Library to participate in an ongoing series of "one-shot" Dungeons and  Dragons adventures every month. Players do not have to play consistently each month to participate.

Rodman Public Library's monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 11 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library and create a photo tile of themselves fit for a Mother's Day gift. All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Registration is required. Teen Nerf Night

Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4. Teens should start to assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:15 p.m. for the after-hours event. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library. The library will also provide Nerf darts. Space is limited and registration is required. Alliance Vinyl Club

Although it is called a club, there is no formal membership and no registration is required to attend Alliance Vinyl Club meetings, which are open to all music lovers. Those attending are encouraged to bring in some of their favorite records to play for others.

The Rodman Public Library's Teen Advisory Board will meet Tuesday, May 2 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Main Library conference room.

Teens, ages 12-18, who want to help shape teen programming and the teen collection of materials are welcome to join. The group meets regularly on the first Tuesday of each month. Hours spent attending Teen Advisory Board meetings and helping with projects count as volunteer hours.

Those interested in growing their own produce this year and only have a small plot of space available will want to join Jennifer White from the Stark County Ohio State University Extension when she visits Rodman Public Library at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 10.
