Each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. between September 12 and November 14 , parents or caregivers and their children, ages 3 to 12, are invited to participate in an entertaining and educational evening in Rodman Main Children's Department as part of Family Fun Night. There will be stories before participants break into small groups to visit various stations where they will play games, complete challenges and create crafts that will provide fun for all ages. No registration is required.

The free games will be held monthly inside the Rodman Main Auditorium and prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Rodman Public Library's monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 31 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library and create a rainbow sand art terranium. All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Registration is required. Rodman Public Library invites children, ages 8-12, to join the Kids Book Club, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month.  The selection for July is Quinny & Hopper by Adriana Brad Schaner. Kids Book Club meetings include a brief discussion of the book, a fun activity and a snack, which will be pizza in July.  Books are available for extended checkout.
