Wee Read

Wee Read, a program offered through the Children's Department, is designed to introduce children to books, fingerplays and music incorporating the six early learning skills.  Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Monday evenings at the main library from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at the main library from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Sessions last 20-30 minutes.  No registration is required. Children's Halloween Party

The Children's Department at Rodman Public Library will be hosting a Children's Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. This event will include Halloween games, stories, face painting, music, dancing, treats... and more. Be sure to bring your camera to take a picture of your little ones in front of our fall backdrop. The program is open to children, ages 3-12, accompanied by an adult. Halloween costumes are optional but encouraged.

Tales for Tails

Rodman Public Library offers children the chance to try their reading skills on local therapy dogs on one Saturday each month from 1:00-3:00 p.m. These specially trained dogs will "listen" to stories in the Children's Program Room at the Main Library.
