Who are the people in your neighborhood?

The Rodman Branch Library will help youngsters get to know a few of them during storytime sessions at 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday between April 11 and May 30.

With a theme of "All Together Now," a preview of the 2023 Summer Reading Program, each week of Who Are The People In Your Neighborhood Storytime will feature a guest speaker and a special activity.

Rodman Public Library invites children, ages 8-12, to join the Kids Book Club, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month. The August selection is The Year of the Book by Andrea Cheng. Kids Book Club meetings include a brief discussion of the book, a fun activity and a snack, which will be pizza in August.  Books are available for extended checkout. Rodman Public Library's monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 6 when children, ages 6-12, are invited to come to the Main Library and decorate their own spring basket and maybe receive a treat to put inside. All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Registration is required.
