Just for Girls Book Club

Girls, ages 8-12, are invited to meet in the Children's Department at Rodman Public Library for the Just for Girls Book Club.  Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 4:15-5:00 p.m.  Meetings include a book discussion, games and other activities. Children must be able to read on a 4-6 grade reading level.  Participants have a four-week checkout of a selected title one month in advance.  Registration is required. Heart Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Heart Storytime on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m., or Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to paint a ceramic heart shaped box. Snowed In at the Library

Enjoy winter without the cold! Rodman Library will host "Snowed In. at the Library", on Monday, February 19, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., for children, ages 6-10, in the Main Auditorium. Have fun with a snow-themed active program. Create a decorative snow shield to use during an indoor "snowball" fight using soft, stuffed snowballs. Attendees can also practice their throwing skills by hitting snow targets. Snacks provided. This program is a free event. No registration is required. For more information, call
