Rodman Public Library is partnering with the Alliance Historical Society to host a Freedom Trail Walk on Sunday, May 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The one mile walk will go from Rodman Public Library through the former village of Freedom to the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home along the Stark Parks Iron Horse Trail.

Starting Monday, January 4, kids, ages preschool through third grade, can stop by the Children’s Department at the Rodman Main Library to “adopt” a stuffed animal buddy to read to. Buddy bags will include a book buddy, an adoption certificate, a reading log, and several other surprises.
Rodman Main and Branch libraries will be closed Friday, January 1 through Sunday, January 3 for the holiday. Both locations will reopen on Monday, January 4 at 10:00 a.m.
New sliding doors are being installed at the Main Library using funding through the CARES Act. On Thursday, Dec. 17 and Friday, Dec. 18, please use the parking lot/Arch Avenue entrance, as the Broadway Street entrance will be closed.
