Maker Monday, a new in-person craft program for adults, will make its debut at Rodman Public Library on Sept. 20.
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7, Rodman Public Library will extend its hours at both its main and branch facilities. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the library will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hours on Thursday and Friday will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, the library will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Representatives of Rodman Public Library were on hand at the Alliance City Schools’ Summer Explorers Family Night on Wednesday to hand out COSI Connects science kits.
The Friends of Rodman Public Library will benefit from patrons who order food from Chipotle, 1630 E. State St., from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16.
Members of the Mount Union football team moved a mountain on Tuesday.
Rodman Public Library invites children, ages 6-12, to test their agility and other athletic skills through a Pool Noodle Obstacle Course on Saturday, July 31. The course will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Main Library. Children can stop by any time during those hours to make a run through various obstacles made out of pool noodles. The rain date for the event is Aug. 21.
