Question: What is the SEO Library Consortium?
Answer:  The SEO (Serving Every Ohioan) Service Center, located in Caldwell, is a division of the State Library of Ohio, which supports a consortium of 95 Library systems at 241 physical locations throughout 49 counties across Ohio using the OPLIN network.  SEO supports a centralized shared catalog database that includes over 8.1 million items with a patron database of nearly one million users, with an annual circulation of over 15 million.

Friends of the Library Fundraiser

Make your meal a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Come in to Buffalo Wild Wings at 310 W. State St., Alliance, on Wednesday, October 14, from 11:00 a.m. to midnight for takeout or dine in. Bring in the flyer (or ticket), show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 15% of the proceeds will be donated to the Friends of Rodman Public Library.

 

One Book One Community - Christina Baker Kline Virtual Visit

Alliance One Book One Community is pleased to announce that the 2020 program, featuring the novel Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline, will conclude with a virtual visit with the author.  This event will take place on the evening of Thursday, October 1 at 7 p.m., and will be an opportunity to for readers to learn more about Kline and her New York Times best-selling novel Orphan Train.
