With the Children’s Department looking a bit like Whoville, a Grinchmas Who-liday open house is planned for Saturday, December 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children of all ages will have fun as they stroll through the children’s area where several different stations of games and crafts will be offered during the Whobilation. No registration is required to attend the open house.

At 2 p.m., the film The Grinch from 2018 will be shown as an interactive movie inside the Rodman Auditorium. Children will be given a goodie bag, compliments of the Friends of Rodman Library, and instructions that will help make viewing the film that much more fun. Registration is required to attend this event at rodmanlibrary.com. All ages are welcome to view films at RPL, but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult companion.

In keeping with the Whoville theme, a nine-hole Grinch-inspired putt-putt course will be open to all ages throughout the auditorium, gallery and children’s program room at Rodman Library all day on Dec. 22 and 23. There is no registration or fee required to take part in this Grinchy golf.
