The RPL Makerspace is offering programs to help patrons get explore what it has to offer and to discover new crafting skills.
Although there is usually a cost for materials when using the Makerspace, these planned programs are being offered free of charge and registration may be required.
Those attending Makerspace programs may also have to follow other requirements to use the space.

MAKE A MAGNETIC SUSHI BOOKMARK
Wednesday, June 18 at 3 p.m.
Come learn how to make a free magnetic bookmark and celebrate International Sushi Day using tools from the library’s Makerspace for free.
DIY POLLINATOR BOOKMARKS
Monday, June 23 at 1 p.m.
Learn to customize and cut out designs with a Cricut machine, and create a bookmark to celebrate National Pollinators Week. Bring your own cardstock or use our supplies for free.
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON MAKER DAY

Saturday, June 28 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Patrons will have designs and materials to choose from as a librarian helps to create an item to celebrate the release of the new How to Train Your Dragon film. Patrons will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration required.

WORLD UFO DAY PAPERCRAFT
Wednesday, July 2 at 3 p.m.
Come celebrate World UFO Day and create a piece of art to take home using tools from the Makerspace. Use our supplies for free or bring your own cardstock.
DIY SHARK WEEK VINYL STICKERS

Tuesday, July 8 at 5 p.m.
Learn to cut out vinyl stickers with a Cricut machine and celebrate Shark Week by making your own shark sticker for free.

JURASSIC WORLD MAKER DAY
Saturday, July 19 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Come make a project inspired by Jurassic World Rebirth in the Makerspace. We’ll have designs and materials to choose from, and a librarian will help you create something to celebrate the release of the new film for free. No registration required. Patrons will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis.
