Rodman Public Library catalog users are now seeing something different when searching for a title: the addition of Louisville Public Library catalog records.
For the past several months, Rodman staff has been working with Louisville staff under the guidance of Innovative Interfaces, the company who supplies the libraries with their computer system. The load of Louisville’s database into the Rodman system was completed the week of August 8. In total, 61,825 new titles were added into the Rodman catalog along with 108,976 title copies. This expands the number of items that will be readily available to Rodman Public Library patrons.
These items are now available to Rodman catalog users for checkout directly from Louisville and Louisville patrons can check out items from Rodman. Also, holds may be placed on books, audiobooks, music CDs, and DVDs from Louisville and picked up at any Rodman location. Rodman patrons who live in the Louisville area may arrange to pick up their holds at the Louisville Library.
