Teens, ages 12-18, are invited for an afternoon of Star War games, crafts, snacks, and fun as we celebrate National Star Wars Day in Rodman Main Auditorium on Thursday, May 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. Play the “Storm Trooper Balloon Pop” game where competing teams run end-to-end in the room, popping balloons in various ways. Or try the “Saving Han Solo from Carbonite” game as teams try to free a Han Solo figure from a block of ice using squirt guns. Teens will then navigate through a series of obstacles to “Escape from the Death Star” and knock down storm trooper pins using a BB-8 bowling bowl during the “BB-8 Bowling” game. Use your force on the “Death Star Piñata.” Teens may also build their own light saber with pool noodles and duct tape, and build their own edible droid. This event is free and no registration is needed. The program is supported by the Friends of Rodman Library. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 214.
