Winter Computer Classes Continue in February

Rodman Library’s computer classes continue in February and will run through March. Classes will be held on February 5, 7, 12, 13, 18 & 21. Hands-on classes are limited to nine (9) persons and two (2) alternates. All classes start at 10 a.m., except where noted at 6:30 p.m., and last about one hour. Registration is required and accepted by telephone or in person. Call 330-821-2665, to register.

Word Basics: Become familiar with Word through an overview of this program— word processing, how to copy, paste, add page numbers, format a document, and use templates. Attendance at Computer Basics or prior experience with Windows is preferred. Class date is Thursday, February 7

Intro to PayPal: Wondering how Pay Pal works? You will be introduced to the basics of how to create a profile and set up an account. Demonstration only. Class date is Tuesday, February 12

eBay Basics: Buying or selling items? You can post them onto eBay. Learn the basic rules for eBay, how to create accounts and add images to your profile. Demonstration only. Class date is Wednesday, February 13

Cloud Computer Basics: In the Cloud? What? Learn about four of the major electronic storage applications available through Apple, google, Microsoft, and Amazon. We will investigate some of the basic terminology, usage, and benefits to using these products on your electronic devices. Class date is Monday, February 18, at 6:30 p.m.

Computer Security Basics: This demonstration class will introduce you to basic cyber security. Learn tips and tricks on how to keep your device safe. Demonstration only. Class date is Thursday, February 21
