Rodman Library’s computer classes conclude in March. Classes will be held on March 5, 7, 12, 13 & 21. Hands-on classes are limited to nine (9) persons and two (2) alternates. All classes start at 10 a.m., except where noted at 6:30 p.m., and last about one hour. Registration is required − online, in person or call 330-821-2665.
Basic Computer: Learn the basics of the computer and common desktop elements including the power button, Start menu, windows, and files. There will be a short introduction on the functions of the mouse and keyboard. Class date is Tuesday, March 5
Searching the Net: The focus will be on various search engines, and how to become a better Internet searcher. Prior experience with using the Internet is preferred but not necessary. Class date is Thursday, March 7
iPad/iPhone Basics: This class will introduce you to some basic features on your iPad/iPhone and some popular apps to get you started. Learn how to download apps, close apps, change settings, and more. Please be sure your device is charged and you know your passwords. Class date is Tuesday, March 12
Intro to Windows 10: Curious about Windows 10? We will demonstrate how to navigate through this interface and show new elements such as the Edge browser. Demonstration only. Class date is Wednesday, March 13
