Rodman Library’s fall computer classes conclude in November. Classes will be held on November 8, 13, 15, 19, 27, and 29. Hands-on classes are limited to nine (9) persons and a maximum of two (2) alternates. All classes start at 10 a.m., except where noted at 6:30 p.m., and last about one hour. Searching the Net: The focus will be on various search engines, and how to become a better Internet searcher. Prior experience with using the Internet is preferred but not necessary. Class date is Thursday, November 8

Word Basics: Become familiar with Word through an overview of this program— word processing, how to copy, paste, add page numbers, format a document, and use templates. Attendance at Computer Basics or prior experience with Windows is preferred. Class date is Thursday, Nov. 15
Intro to Windows 10: Curious about Windows 10? We will demonstrate how to navigate through this interface and show new elements such as the Edge browser. Demonstration only. Class date is Monday, November 19, at 6:30 p.m.
Email Basics: Reading and sending emails, plus attaching and opening attached files are explained using a free email account from Google. The class is suited to those who do not currently have an email account and are interested in creating one. Prior experience with using the Internet is preferred. Class date is Tuesday, November 27
Computer Security Basics: This demonstration class will introduce you to basic cyber security. Learn tips and tricks on how to keep your device safe. Demonstration only. Class date is Thursday, November 29
