Area teens, ages 12-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library every other Thursday to play their favorite video games on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 with Kinect, Playstation 3 & 4, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii & WiiU. Visitors will have the opportunity to play a different game each week. Games with ratings from "E" for Everyone, up to"T" for Teen level, will be offered.

Rodman Public Library invites children, ages 8-12, to join the Kids Book Club, which will meet on the third Wednesday of each month. The fall selections include The 13-Story Treehouse by Andy Griffiths for Sept. 15, Malcolm at Midnight by W.H. Beck on Oct. 20, Sweeping Up the Heart by Kevin Henkes on Nov. 17 and OCDaniel by Wesley King on Dec. 15. Books are available for extended checkout at the Children's Department. Registration is required for each session.

Teens, ages 12-18, will have an opportunity to play detective at Rodman Public Library from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19. Based on the classic board game Clue that was later turned into a feature film, participants will visit various rooms inside the library where staff members will be playing the role of one of the iconic Clue characters.

Are you a teen who loves to read? Join Rodman Public Library for the Teen Book Club that meets on the third Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at the Main Library. The selected title for September is The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Copies are available at the Main Library, through the library's catalog, or digitally through Axis 360 or the Ohio Digital Library. This program is patrons ages 12-18.
