Intro to Windows 10

Are you curious to see what Windows 10 is like? In this class we will demonstrate how to navigate through the new interface and show you elements like the Edge browser.

Basic Computer: Email

The basics of reading and sending emails as well as how to attach and open attached files will be explained using a free email account from Google. This class is especially suited to those who do not currently have an email account and are interested in creating one.

Attendance at basic internet class or prior experience with using the Internet is preferred.

Basic Computer

Become familiar with the basics of the computer in this class as you learn about the common desktop elements including the power button, Start menu, windows, and files. There will also be a short introduction to the functions of the mouse and keyboard.

Device Q&A

Have questions about your tablet, eReader, or smartphone? Stop in and join our discussion! This will be an informal class where you can ask your questions and learn from the experiences of others.

Electronic Borrowing

Come learn about the free apps available from the library for borrowing eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, comics and television shows. Be sure to bring your library card, password, and Tablet/eReader with you if you would like to download the apps.
