Children can use their imagination and build with Legos at Rodman Public Library when the Lego Splash returns to the Children’s Department on the second Saturday of each month. Beginning on Saturday, September 10, the program will take place from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the Children’s Program Room. We provide the Lego and Duplo bricks, you provide the creations! The program is open to children of all ages. No registration is required.

Michelle Dillon, president of the Alliance Historical Society, will present the program, “Matthew, Mary and Mabel: Mabel Hartzell, the Hartzells, and the Historical Home Part II”, on Wednesday, March 29, at 7 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium.
Michelle Dillon, president of the Alliance Historical Society, will present the program, “Matthew, Mary and Mabel: Part I”, on Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium. This is the first of two programs on the family who built and lived in the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home.
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to join us at the Main Auditorium on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m., for an after-hours, Nerf challenge event. Two challenges will be conducted. The first is a capture-the-flag mission. Teens will be divided into two teams with the goal to capture the opposing team’s flag. The second challenge will be to escort “The President” safely to a new location. Teens will be allowed to use Nerf weapons during both challenges.
