Topics such as what constitutes a safe sleep environment will be discussed—how to position your baby for sleep, what baby should wear for sleeping, where a baby should and should not sleep, and safety in the crib. Edwards will also talk about risk factors for SIDS. She will give information on what services are available locally, including contact information.

Teen Trivia Night

Teens, 12-18, are invited for a “Teen Trivia Night” on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 3 to 5 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium. All trivia questions are centered around pop culture, fandoms, video games, and YA books. Teens work in teams of three, with a total of three rounds for the trivia event. Each round imitates a famous television game show, with Round One much like Wheel of Fortune as teens guess the clue by guessing a series of letters. In Round Two, teens have to match with other members of their team to earn points, similar to Match Game.
