Young Wonders, Our Future

Lynnette Reiner, Science Director at the William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, will give a program on “Young Wonders, Our Future” on Friday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m., in the Children's Program Room. The program focuses on the serious issues facing the environment today, and how savvy kids are taking matters into their own hands. Reiner will look at a few of these kids and discuss how they made a difference.

Solar Eclipse Family Day

Join us in Rodman Auditorium on Saturday, July 8, beginning at 2 p.m., for a fun-filled family day in anticipation of the solar eclipse that will be taking place in August. First, Nancy Baker Cazan, Education Director of the Beech Creek Gardens, will give a presentation about the solar eclipse. Following her presentation, iPads with the Sky View app will be available for attendees to use in the Main Gallery. Those who want to make a pinhole camera to view the eclipse and learn how to hold it may do so at one of the three stations located in the Children’s Program Room.
