Wee Read, a program offered through the Branch Children's Department, is designed to introduce children to books, fingerplays and music incorporating the six early learning skills.  Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Tuesday mornings at the Branch Library from 10:30-11:00am.

Branch Fall Make & Take

Children, celebrate the fall season with your own small pumpkin to paint, decorate and take home. Mark your calendar for Saturday, Oct. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Branch Library. All supplies will be furnished. This is a free event open to children of all ages. No registration is needed. The Branch Library is located at 1808 W. State St. (in the Marketplace Plaza). Lil Pumpkin Storytime with HotPots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Lil Pumpkin Storytime on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m., or Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to paint a cute pumpkin ceramic luminary. Snacks will be offered. The cost is $10.00, payable to Hot Pots before the event.
