Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity
"What is Habitat", Information Opportunity
Karen Perone will talk about the digitization projects that the library has been working on this past year to make city documents, a little known Alliance newspaper from the 1920s, and Alliance yearbooks available online. The program will include a live demonstration of how to access the documents using your web browser.
Minecraft on the iPad will be offered for children, ages 8-12, on Saturday, March 31, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium. Participants will be given different tasks to complete at the beginning of the program, which will encourage teamwork and organization. The Minecraft Realms for iPads will be used for this program. iPads will be available for use. Up to ten children will have access to the iPads at a time. No sign up is required.
