Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to participate in an escape room inside the Main Auditorium at Rodman Public Library at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19. The escape room will have a "Five Nights at Freddy's" theme and teens will be tasked with solving a number of puzzles to escape the pizzeria and the haunted animatronics. Rodman Public Library's popular children's Halloween party will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, at 2:00 p.m. at the Main Library. Open to families with children of all ages, the fun will include stories, treats and games. A "photo booth" will be provided for parents to take pictures of their little ones, so don't forget to bring your phone or your camera. Costumes are not mandatory, but they are encouraged. "Alliance's Golden Age of Steam," the second of three programs of the Alliance Railroad History series, will roll into Rodman Public Library's Main Auditorium for two presentations on Monday, Sept. 13.

Area teens, ages 12-18, interested in playing a continual Dungeons and Dragons campaign are invited to an organizational meeting from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11 in the Main Auditorium at Rodman Public Library. Teens will not be participating in a session of the popular tabletop role-playing game during the meeting.

Rodman Public Library invites children, ages 8-12, to Kids Gaming every first Wednesday of each month at the Main Library Auditorium. From 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., children will be treated to open play of video games, Minecraft, etc. on devices provided by the library. Registration is required for each session.

Teens, ages 12-18, are eligible to participate in the after-hours Teen Nerf Night event held every other month at the Main Library Auditorium. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library. The library will also provide Nerf darts. Space is limited and registration is required. Rodman Public Library's Children's Department will host an event based on the popular Animal Crossing video game. The family program will be held between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Main Library. Anytime between those hours, patrons can come and take part in the event. Attendees will not be playing the video game, but will visit stations to complete tasks related to Animal Crossing.
