Join Michelle Dillon, president of the Alliance Historical Society, and learn how to discover your family history through genealogy. She will explain how to get started, where to find the genealogy databases offered on the Rodman Library website and tips for basic searching. Michelle will also discuss how genealogy has grown to become one of the most popular hobbies today. This year's community book selection is "Orphan Train," by Christina Baker Kline. The author will be in Alliance on Thursday, Mar. 26, at 7 p.m., at Union Avenue United Methodist Church.
