Just bring your cards, decks, a friend, and your skills, gather with other teens to enjoy your favorite card game. All card games are welcome. Snacks will be offered. Y.A. Brainstorming Session

The library is looking to re-design its young adult section and we want to hear from you. This is your chance to try and get shape the library fro years to come. Come prepared with questions, comments, ideas, and suggestions of what you would like to see in this new section. Pizza will be offered at this meeting.

Anime Club

February’s Anime will feature a “mystery” episode viewed on the library’s big screen. Discussion of the characters and comparison of Anime versions vs. Manga versions will follow. Teens who attend will be able to decide what gets shown from month to month.

In this movie a group of teenagers attempt to save their town from foreign invaders. The movie is rated PG-13 and will be viewed on Rodman Library’s big screen in the main auditorium. Based on a popular young adult book, a young woman voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the games, a televised fight to the death in which two teenagers are chosen at random to compete. Members of the Alliance Area Preservation Society (The Haines House) will hold their annual meeting on February 25, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Rodman Public Library. The evening’s program will be given by Wick Hartung, member of the Canton Preservation Society Board of Directors. Mr. Hartung will talk about the impact of preservation on the City of Canton. There will be a brief business meeting preceding the presentation. The meeting is open to the public.
