In a multimedia presentation for the Alliance Historical Society, Alliance native and former City Band member, Ralph Holibaugh, will share information he has compiled for a biographical study of the band’s least known director, Frank P. Atherton. The presentation to be given at Rodman Public Library’s Main Auditorium on Monday, June 3, at 7:00 p.m., will discuss a 12-month period between 1905 and 1906, at which time Atherton directed the band and the Craven Opera House Orchestra.

Anime Club

All teens, ages 13-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, April 23, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. A full length Anime movie will feature Naruto Shippuden-Bonds. Discussion of the characters and comparison of Anime versions vs. Manga versions will follow. Teens who attend will be able to decide what gets shown from month to month.

The Anime Club will meet in the main auditorium of Rodman Public Library located at 215 East Broadway Street in Alliance, OH. No registration is required. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 214.

All teens, ages 12-18, gather your friends and come to the Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, Apr. 16, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. The library will host a “Magic the Gathering and More” card game afternoon just for teens in the main auditorium. All teens, ages 12-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, April 2, at 5:30 p.m., for a Just for Teens Movie Night. In this movie a man has played the bad guy in his popular video game for many years. Wanting to change his image, he embarks on an action-packed adventure, which includes holding the fate of the arcade in his hands as he battles against an evil army, and sets out to prove to everyone that he is a true hero with a big heart.
