Just in time for Halloween, movie nights have returned to Rodman Public Library. The library will present a series of movies for patrons on Mondays, October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. The film series will revolve around a Halloween theme of ghosts, goblins, magic… and one very strange family. Movies shown on October 1, 22 and 29 are rated PG; movies on October 8 and 15 are rated PG-13.

Adults, do you enjoy playing video games? Eager to try out the Xbox 360 with Kinect, Nintendo Wii, WiiU and Playstation 3? Want to show your skills at sports, dancing and other games?

 On Tuesday, February 26, at 5:30 p.m., adults are invited to Rodman Public Library to play Xbox 360 with Kinect. Visitors will have the opportunity to play a different game each week. Games with ratings from “E” for Everyone, up to “M” for Mature, will be offered. Also available to play will be the following board/card games: Scrabble, Yatzee, Uno and Apples-to-Apples.

Auditorium - SARTA Travel Training

SARTA will present a Travel Training Session at Rodman Main Library on Tuesday, December 11, from 11 a.m. to noon. Whether you're concerned with easing the strain on our environment or the strain on your wallet, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) is something to consider.

SARTA's Travel Trainers will talk about our public transportation system, how to use it and how to plan trips. A 31-day bus pass is available the first time you attend a Travel Training Session. A picture ID must be presented to receive a pass.
