SPARK (Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids) meeting.

SPARK SUPPORTING PARTNERSHIPS TO ASSURE READY KIDS™ is a family-focused intervention program that prepares children for kindergarten. Although the initial investment in SPARK was made by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation in partnership with the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton, multiple funders now support SPARK sites in six Ohio counties.

Alliance Early Learning School Kindergarten classes (Mrs. Bowser, Mrs. Bruderly, Mrs. Gasparik, Mrs. Zemrock) will be visiting the library for stories and a tour of the library.

Preschool classes from the Alliance Early Learning School will be visiting the library from 10-11 am and 1:45-2:45 pm for stories, songs and activities.

Girls, ages 9-11, are invited to meet in the Children’s Department at Rodman Public Library for the new “Just for Girls” Book Club being offered. Meetings will be held the third Wednesday of each month from 4:15-5:00 p.m., October 2012 through April 2013 (except the November book club will be held on Nov. 28 and no book club in December). Meetings will include book discussion, games and other activities. Children must be able to read on a 4/5 grade reading level.
