Teen Ornament Decorating

A representative from Hot Pots Pottery will help teens design and personalize clay bisque ornaments. This holiday program will be held on Thursday, December 6, from 3:30-5:00 p.m., in the main auditorium.
Holiday Gaming & Gadget Preview from GameStop

GameStop of Alliance will present this season’s hot gaming software and hardware on Wednesday, November 7, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., in Rodman Library’s main auditorium.
Teen Gaming Tournament
Submitted by event_admin on Fri, 10/19/2012 - 12:59pmAs part of National Gaming Day, Rodman Public Library joins in celebration with other libraries by offering a Teen Gaming Tournament, Saturday, Nov. 3, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., in Rodman’s main auditorium.
Super Smash Brothers Brawltm will be played only on a Wiitm gaming system, in a one-on-one, head-to-head competition. Participants may bring their own controllers, but everything else, including characters, will be random. The tournament will consist of double elimination and best of three. Prizes will be awarded to the top two finalists.

A new book club will be starting up just for teens on Tuesday, October 16, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. The club will meet once a month with the focus on one genre of books.

This four-night event is October 19, 20 & 26,27 from 4:00-9:00pm. Admission is $5 per person. $4 for members. 0-2years: Free. Teen Pumpkin Decorating
Submitted by event_admin on Tue, 09/25/2012 - 10:31amWhat comes to mind when thoughts turn to fall? If it is pumpkins and if you are a teen between the ages of 12-18, you are invited to join us at Rodman Public Library for this unique event on Thursday, October 25, from 3:30-5:00 p.m.
All attendees will be given one pumpkin to carve, paint or just decorate. All carved and decorated pumpkins will then be judged by our library panel for most creative pumpkin and the winner will receive a prize. The pumpkins will then be on display for a week in the library gallery for all patrons to view.
Teen Book Club
Submitted by event_admin on Tue, 09/18/2012 - 7:15pmA book club for teens, ages 12-18 years, will be starting on Tuesday, October 16, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Rodman Public Library’s Main Auditorium. The book club will meet once a month with the focus on one genre of books. Each participant will be able to choose the book he/she wants to read from that month’s genre. At each meeting everyone will have a chance to talk about the chosen book. There will be snacks and beverages at each meeting…even a door prize.
