Diana Boggia, M. Ed., author and syndicated columnist of the Canton Repository’s “Family Matters” will discuss how to bring out the best in your child on Monday, November 12, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Rodman Library. Boggia, who has a background in behavior management and a Masters Degree in Education and Developmental Disabilities, has worked with families for more than 20 years to eliminate unwanted behaviors in children and minimize family chaos.

Adults, do you enjoy playing video games? Eager to try out the Xbox 360 with Kinect, Nintendo Wii, WiiU and Playstation 3? Want to show your skills at sports, dancing and other games?
On Tuesday, February 26, at 5:30 p.m., adults are invited to Rodman Public Library to play Xbox 360 with Kinect. Visitors will have the opportunity to play a different game each week. Games with ratings from “E” for Everyone, up to “M” for Mature, will be offered. Also available to play will be the following board/card games: Scrabble, Yatzee, Uno and Apples-to-Apples.
SARTA will present a Travel Training Session at Rodman Main Library on Tuesday, December 11, from 11 a.m. to noon. Whether you're concerned with easing the strain on our environment or the strain on your wallet, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) is something to consider.
SARTA's Travel Trainers will talk about our public transportation system, how to use it and how to plan trips. A 31-day bus pass is available the first time you attend a Travel Training Session. A picture ID must be presented to receive a pass.

Heart Mender, A Story of Second Chances, by Andy Andrews, is the book choice for discussion.
Rodman Public Library hosts a monthly support group for the caregivers of adults experiencing challenges such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. The next meeting will be Thursday, Dec. 18, from 2 to 3 p.m. Caregivers have the opportunity to share with each other the challenges they are meeting, plus ideas and any suggestions and information of assistance that may help others in the group.
The ‘KnitWits’ Knitting Circle of Rodman Public Library meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the main library. Meetings for this month will take place on December 8 and 22. Knitters, and other needle workers, are invited to network and compare notes.
