Dolphin Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Dolphin Story Hour on Wednesday, July 15, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the Branch Library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to make a small dolphin figurine. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered. Registration is required for this event and can be made by stopping in at the Branch or calling 330-821-1313.

Art Class with Miss Terri: O'Keeffe

Children ages 5-8 and 9-13 can sign up to explore the world of Georgia O’Keeffe on Saturday, August 22nd in the Children’s Program Room. The class for ages 5-8 will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and for ages 9-13 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. Georgia O'Keeffe, (1887-1986),  is a 20th century American painter best known for her flower canvases and southwestern landscapes. Children will recreate art based on O’Keeffe’s images of flowers or southwest desert animal skulls using watercolor or acrylic paints. Advanced registration is required.
