Boy's Book Club
Submitted by event_admin on Mon, 12/17/2012 - 8:48pmBoys, ages 9-11, are invited to meet in the Children’s Department at Rodman Public Library for the “Just for Boys” Book Club being offered. Meetings will be held the second Wednesday of each month from 4:15-5:00 p.m., November 2012 through April 2013 (no book club in December). Children must be able to read on a 4/5 grade reading level.

Storytime PM Main Library

Patrons may attend Storytime at either location on Tuesday evenings, Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. or Thursday mornings, Jan. 10, 17, 24 & 31, from 10:30 -11:15 a.m. Rodman Main is located at 215 E. Broadway St., and Rodman Branch is now located at 1808 West State St. in the Marketplace Plaza (next to Giant Eagle).
Wee Read
Submitted by event_admin on Mon, 12/17/2012 - 6:34pmBeginning January 2013, the Children’s Department will host a new program, Wee Read. The program is designed to introduce children to books, fingerplays and music incorporating the six early learning skills. Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Monday evenings, Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings, Jan. 9, 16, 23 and 30, from 10:30-11:00 a.m.
Word Basics & Editing

Learn the basics of word processing, how to copy & paste, cut & paste, insert date, time, and page numbers, plus how to format a document and use templates. Attendance at Windows Basics or prior experience with Windows is preferred.
