Students from the Canton Ballet will be performing a mini-class and offering an audience participation section as part of the “Dream Big…READ!” children’s summer reading program. The performance will be held in the Rodman Public Library auditorium on Tuesday, July 31, from 2:00-2:45 p.m. Following the program, performers and the class instructor will answer questions about what it takes to become a ballet dancer.

The summer reading programs at Rodman Public Library will kick off on June 4 and run through September 1. This year's theme for both adults and children is "Dream Big... READ!", and the teen theme is "Own the Night." There will be programs, prizes, hands-on creative opportunities and special events for each age group.
