The Children’s Department at Rodman Public Library will host 
Storytime for 4-6 year olds in December. Patrons may attend 
Storytime on Tuesday evenings on December 4, 11 and 18 or 
Thursday mornings on December 6, 13 and 20. There will be no
storytime on December 25 or 27.

The goal of Storytime is to encourage life-long readers through stories, music, movement and activities. Pre-registration is not required. For more information, call the library at 330-821-2665, ext. 223

Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. or Thursday mornings,
Nov. 8, 15 and 29, from 10:30 -11:15 a.m. There will be no 
Storytime on Nov. 22, due to Thanksgiving. Topics will 
include: Win with Books, Friends, Turkeys and Things that Move.

Patrons ages 2 & 3 years old are invited to Lapsit Monday evenings, Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Topics will include: Mice, Dinosaurs, Pirates, Spiders and Trick or Treat.

This year marks the 200^th anniversary of Charles Dickens’ birth. Rodman Public Library is commemorating this bicentennial with An Afternoon with Charles Dickens, a program presented on Saturday, December 8, at 2:00 p.m., by Largely Literary Theater Company artistic director and co-founder Mark Dawidziak.
