In this book, world famous car customizer, Eddie Paul, instructs the reader on fixing and painting cars like a pro. In case you do not recognize the last name Paul, you may recognize some of his work which includes cars for the Fast & Furious and CARS. Paul mastered his craft by learning the basics and includes information in this book on such fundamentals as bodywork essentials, tool selection, body repair materials, and welding skills. After Paul explains the basics, he instructs the reader on more advanced subjects such as repairing vs. replacing and common paint problems and cures. Helpful photographs reinforce key concepts.
Medications can be looked up by the disease/disorder they treat or by their brand/generic name in this guide book. Once the medication information is found, color-correct images of the pills help the reader to confirm the identity of the pill. Information such as the group of drugs the pill belongs to, what health care professionals should know before you start taking a particular pill, how you should take it, what to do if you miss a dose, what interacts with the pill, what you should watch for while on the medication, side effects, and storage information make this a very helpful book.
Ramey, retired chief of the Division of Natural Areas and Preserves with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, shares his outdoor expertise in compiling this handy Ohio hiking book. Each featured hike includes essentials such as directions to the trail and where you can park your vehicle. Hike specifics such as trail distance, hiking time, maximum elevation, vertical rise and where to find it on maps help the reader decide which trail to hike. Included topographical maps and commentary by the author serve as a good guide in helping the reader discover Ohio’s trails. BEST EDITORIAL CARTOONS OF THE YEAR 2007 by Charles Brooks Over 400 editorial cartoons from 2006 are presented in this volume. Cartoons are arranged by different categories. Some of the categories include major award winners, terrorism, politics, crime and the media. The editor doesn’t favor a particular set of political beliefs nor does he provide any commentary which allows the reader to draw their own conclusions.
If you ever wanted to go deer hunting or know someone who does, this book should be an interesting and helpful read. The novice will appreciate Pruet’s basic instruction. The book is divided into manageable chapters that include deer basics, habits of deer, preparing for the hunt, during the hunt, after the shot and after the season. In addition to the major chapters, Pruet also instructs the reader on ethical hunting, scouting tips and ends the book with good recipes. After reading this book, hunters should have a better opportunity for a safe and successful hunt. |
