The following books feature original projects that can be made using the many types of craft paper available in stores today.

Book jacket imageCARDS THAT POP UP, FLIP & SLIDE by Michael Jacobs

When this author was a child he was fascinated by his pop up books and how they worked. He has taken this passion and converted his skills into step-by-step instructions on how to make unique action cards.

To help readers get started with their own creations, there are over twenty templates and a discussion of several techniques that are used to create different looks. The color photos and easy to follow instructions help make a variety of cards that can be used for any occasion.

All of the projects included in this book use different types of paper in addition to fabric and sewing. The author writes in her introduction that whether a sewing machine is used or the projects are sewn by hand, each project can be done by almost everyone.

The book includes step-by-step photos and handy tips that can be used to make stationery, decorative boxes and frames. Many of the projects can be made using materials found around the house.
